OpenFileConverter Edge WASM Studio

Privacy Policy

Effective: October 31, 2026

1. Your files

Client-side conversions run entirely inside your browser: those files never leave your device. Edge-assisted conversions are buffered in volatile Worker memory and discarded when the response is delivered. We never write user file content to persistent storage.

2. Cookies we use

  • __Host-openfileconverter_csrftoken — protects form and API submissions (strictly necessary, host-only).
  • cc_cookie — stores your consent preferences (strictly necessary).
  • dc_gyc_imp — anonymous ad-experiment attribution impression (first-party, no cross-site tracking).

Manage non-essential categories any time via the cookie preferences panel.

3. Analytics and advertising

With your consent we load Google Analytics (measurement), Microsoft Clarity (anonymous session diagnostics), and Google AdSense/AdMob (advertising, including rewarded video). These third parties may process data outside your region when consented. Refusing consent never degrades conversion functionality.

4. Your rights (GDPR & CCPA)

Under the EU/UK GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and port your personal data, and to object to processing or withdraw consent at any time. Under the California CCPA/CPRA you have the right to know, delete, correct, and opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information — we do not sell personal information. Because conversion is anonymous, we typically hold no personal data beyond the consent record itself.

To exercise any right, email mgmt@adstim.net. EU/UK users may lodge a complaint with their supervisory authority.

5. Retention & security

Job audit rows (metadata only: file name, sizes, hashed identifiers) expire on a rolling window. Transport is TLS-only with HSTS; sessions and CSRF cookies are host-only __Host- cookies.
