Terms of Service

1. The Service

OpenFileConverter converts files between formats. Client-side conversions run entirely in your browser via WebAssembly; edge-assisted conversions run on Cloudflare Workers in ephemeral memory. We support the format pairs listed on the conversion hub.

2. Zero File Retention

Files you submit for client-side conversion never leave your device. Files processed at the edge are buffered in volatile isolate memory only and discarded when the response is delivered. We do not write user file content to persistent storage.

3. Acceptable Use

You may not use the service to process content you do not have the rights to convert, to distribute malware, or to abuse rate limits, including rotating session identifiers to bypass quotas. We may throttle or block abusive traffic.

4. Billing

Pro passes are billed through Stripe and grant the quota ceilings described at checkout. Subscriptions renew monthly until cancelled; cancellation revokes the pass at the end of the paid period. Billing questions: mgmt@adstim.net.

5. Warranty & Liability

The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. Converted outputs should be verified for fitness before production use. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for data loss or consequential damages.

6. Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be reflected in the effective date above. Continued use constitutes acceptance. See also our Privacy Policy.
